WHERE BEGINNERS LEARN LACROSSE

Experience Why Lacrosse Is The Fastest Growing Sport In The Country!

WE BELIEVE...

AT PROJECT KANSAS CITY LACROSSE

In helping beginners fall in love with the sport!  To achieve this, we focus on creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all beginners by:

  • Forming teams with friends to foster a sense of belonging

  • Playing against other beginners to ensure that no one feels outmatched

  • Offering the opportunity to try lacrosse before committing to purchasing equipment, because we understand that not everyone may want to continue with the sport.

Our goal is to make the introduction to lacrosse as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.

STEPS TO START TODAY!

  • Does my child need a stick?
No! We will provide sticks for you at the beginning of each session! Just make sure to return the back to us at the end ;)
  • Does my child need cleats?
Cleats are optional, but not required. Tennis shoes are more than fine!
  • Do we need to bring equipment?
Project KC provides all necessary equipment, including sticks and balls. We just ask that you wear weather appropriate clothes and bring water!
  • Can my child be in the same session as a friend?
We have a limit of 20 kids per session, so if the session is full, we cannot guarantee that a child will be placed in the same session as a friend or family member, but if there are spots available, absolutely!
  • Are there practices or games?
Bigger Laxer sessions are held once a week, during the day of the week and time you registered for. There are no practices or formal games involved. If you’re looking for a league to get your player involved with, you can learn more about our Project KC 3v3 Lacrosse League
